Psychological assessments are provided by Broadgate Clinic for individuals who have been identified in having or experiencing stress in their occupation, personal life, sickness or even low levels of motivational factors at work.
As we go through an assessment, a treatment plan is drawn up to support the individual in creating certain strategies for them to return to work. The treatment plan includes a course of short term counselling that is depended on the existing problem.

Counselling and Psychotherapy
Broadgate Clinics offers individual assessment as well as couples therapy which needs to be referred by your GP, employer or even yourself. All sessions are strictly confidential, however within the limits of any life threats made to yourself or others.
Approaches to counselling are integrative and include the following:
Working Integratively - Encourages to work in the present, developing coping skills, being able to work through challenging issues and past experience which might be a cause for current situation.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - Individuals who are diagnosed with difficulties such as depression or anxiety fit into this section. This therapy supports you in identifying areas that help cause the issue from thoughts and feelings. The sessions concentrates on finding the current problem and finding a solution to help manage it through developing coping skills.
Psycho-dynamic psychotherapy - This therapy reflects on your childhood and identifies the areas that might be hampering your daily life.
When it comes to a certain time in our lives we need to take a step back and reassess our lives, relationships and careers. While reflecting you might feel challenged, stressful or anxiety which might cause a decrease in motivational levels, work attendance and lifestyle changes in general.
As you take part in our personal development programme, you will complete a psychological assessment which includes a personality profile that identifies your personality type. The profile highlights skills, talent, potential and personally styles. This also relates to the person's preferred style of decision making, being in the world, learning and finally, how you interact with others.
The Assessment provides and identifies:
Areas of personal development to attain identified goals.
Understanding and valuing differences between people.
Positive and constructive ways of developing self awareness.
These therapy assessments are also used for team building, career guidance, leadership and organisational development.
